Greek Yogurt: This is the creamy base of the sauce, providing that tangy, thick texture we love. You can also use full-fat mayo or even a mixture of Greek yogurt and sour cream for an extra creamy texture.
Dijon Mustard: Adds a subtle sharpness and depth to the sauce, balancing out the yogurt's creaminess.
Whole Grain Dijon Mustard: The little mustard seeds give the sauce an extra layer of texture and flavor.
Dill Weed: Fresh dill is one of my favorite fresh herbs right now and it pair so well in the rich flaky texture of salmon. If using fresh, chop it finely for a vibrant pop of flavor. Fresh dill really brings those bright flavors to the sauce- but if you don't have any you can also us dried dill.
Lemon Juice: Just a squeeze of fresh lemon juice adds the perfect amount of acidity and brightness. Fresh lemon zest can also give an extra zing!
Old Bay Seasoning: This classic seasoning gives the sauce a little heat and that delicious briny seafood flavor.
Salt: Balances all the flavors and enhances the creaminess of the sauce.

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine 4 tablespoons of Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, and 2 tablespoons of whole-grain Dijon mustard. Stir until the mustard is fully incorporated into the yogurt.
Add 1 teaspoon of dill weed, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, ¼ teaspoon of paprika, and ½ teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning. Mix everything together until smooth and creamy.
Taste the sauce and season with ¼ teaspoon of salt, adjusting based on your preference. For a little more heat, you can sprinkle in a pinch of garlic powder or lemon pepper.

Tips, Tricks, and Alterations

Storage: Keep the sauce in an airtight container in the fridge. It stays fresh for up to 3-4 days, making it an excellent option for prepping ahead of time.
Want a little heat? Add a dash of hot sauce or some red pepper flakes for that extra kick!
